Graeme Marathon

In March Graeme took up the challenge to enter the 2008 London Marathon. He choose to sponsor WheelPower, raising over £1000 For the charity.

After weeks of hard work, discipline and training he was ready to run the 26 miles around the London course with thousands of other competitors.

This was the first time Graeme had entered such a large scale sporting event and was extremely pleased to cross the finish line. Graeme said afterwards "I was just glad to get it over and done with however, to finish something like this and raise money for charity at the same time just gives me a fantastic sense of achievement." Graeme went further on to say "it sounded like a good idea at the time but halfway through I began to regret it when the  wind and rain came down. I have to say a big thanks to the general public who cheered all the runners on as without them there wouldn’t have been as many finishers as there were."
