Thompson Estates opened the week of Sept 11th 2001 probably the worst possible week! With the devastation of 9/11 the general consensus was that nobody would want to buy or sell property in the near future. Thoughts were elsewhere. The news shocked the world and everything stood still.
With all the months of planning and arranging for us to be able to open on time, the highly experienced staff were determined and positive to proceed and succeed.
So 15 Beresford Street doors were opened and business was encouraging. Our sheer determination took the buying and selling of properties to a new genre within the Channel Islands.
